Hutch McClendon is an experienced Chief Executive Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the software and telecommunications industries. His focus now is guiding entrepreneurs through Federal Grants to help grow their business. Specifically, the Federal Grants known as Small Business Innovative Research and Small Business
Technology Transfer. He is skilled in Entrepreneurship, Team Building, Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Start-ups. His previous two companies were software as service providers in the Petro-Chemical and Telecom Industries.

At Louisiana Economic Development, Mr. McClendon is part of the Innovation Team (LA.IO) and is responsible for leading and expanding the Louisiana Technology Transfer Office (LTTO) at LED to assist startups and small businesses with federal research funding, university and federal research partnerships and procurement opportunities throughout Louisiana.
